Sand Mandala On Warsaw Ground

Warsaw, Poland

Eight Tibetan monks from Lhodak Gaden Dhonnyiling Monastery in Dehradun/India are making a Sand Mandala in memory of all Warsaw inhabitants who lost their lives during the WW II.
They started on Monday and will finish on Saturday. Then the mandala will be destroyed and the sand will be poured to Wisla river.

Monks work. Need to have a lot of patience to do this and a lot of other skills. Wonderful tribute too all those from Warsaw who lost their lives. Great valuable moment. V

Nice shot, Lola. I would appreciate if you could send to my email: agnese.selga@gmail.com other pictures from Lhodak Gaden Dhonnyiling monks in Poland. I am collecting them for monks.
Just one from those 7 monks has been previously outside India. European Tour of Tibet's cultural heritage 2009 started in Lithuania 22nd Feb, after they came to Latvia, Estonia, again to Latvia. In Poland they were in Gdynia and now - beautiful Warsaw. One country left - Austria.
You are welcome to Latvian and Estonian sites of this Tour.

Jola, We had them here a few years back. They were praying for healing after the "water wars" here. They were such nice men.http://www.pbase.com/yazziegirl/tibetan_monks
