Powerful image. It grabs the viewers and forces them to consider some uncomfortable questions: whose gravestone is it perched on? Why is part of the gravestone asunder? What does the symbolism of the bird (a crow perhaps?) portend? The diagonal branch leading straight to the crow does not let the eye linger elsewhere. Fabulous photo, Julie. V
