I think this is a Cormorant. The exposure is bad, but it is an interesting looking bird so I am posting it anyway.

You are correct Julie - it is definitely a cormorant. The exposure looks pretty decent to me maybe a little dark in shadows. ~BV~

Double-crested Cormorant, yes. Nice shot. I saw about 30 flying east this morning. An unusual sight at home!
