Rochester, NY

I took this waiting in line for drive thru COVID testing. I am an “essential” employee and they offered testing for us (I work for the county’s social services). The state of New York is encouraging testing because supposedly we can open up faster if more people get tested. The test was awful and a large q tip is shoved up the nose.

I like that they tell you to put your car in park. I saw those long swabs on TV and they definitely don't look like fun. I am glad you were at least able to get tested though. I hope it came back negative. ~V~

As an essential Federal employee I have been told nothing about a test just keep coming to work. It sounds very unpleasant!
You really got a memorable shot while in line!

Thank you for your service! Sorry to hear that the tests are so unpleasant but I hope these protocols keep you and your co-workers safe.

What an ordeal. Holding a positive thought for you that the test comes out negative.

On behalf of all New York residents, thank you.
(and yes, I've hear it's a pain in the ..... nose, but I guess it's necessary)

looks grim, sounds grim, but ultimately reassuring if you got a good test result..

Lucky you were able to get tested. No chance of that here. Interesting documentary shot.

I thought tests had gotten less invasive, but obviously not all of them. Still, you're lucky you were able to get a test; most people can't.
