Wonderful capture, the shot has a real... depth to it, feel as though I'm there!

A stunning farming shot lots of movement from the tracter and the birds, you can almost feel the wind as they go by, beautiful in sepia too!

Di, Bob, Karen - this felt like a 'lame' PAD when I took it. Tractors and Seagulls are barely worth a second look around here. So I have been surprised with the favourable response to this one.
The PP was like this:
Mode-Grayscale
Mode-Duotone with Yellow 138
Layer Adjustment - Curves
Gradient to bring out the clouds
Sharpen
(I was too lazy to take out the lines due to work pressure.)
Thanks for your interest

Great treatment, John. I love all the birds following on hoping to find something worthwhile.

Wonderful color. I love the birds looking for insects behind the tractor. Looks like a storm is approaching, hurry home.

Great tones - and I love the sky!
David Clunas17-Feb-2006 22:04
Like the tone, those clouds look a bit menacing.

LOL
I'm colorblind and thought I was seeing color.
I thought I was cured!

Ed - The tractor would have been green and yellow if it wasn't February B&W PAD ;-)
Guest 17-Feb-2006 18:00
Great action shot John. Hope the pbase meet goes well
Guest 17-Feb-2006 17:45
This is a scene that could have been taken in western NY except for 2 things
1. No one is plowing yet
2. Most tractors here are green and yellow

This could pass for south Louisiana, the egrets following the tractors.
