Went there in 1965! Seem to remember catching a ski-lift and then walking to the top. I don't remember being puffed out though...

That's shameful, the last time I was there I had to walk up, it'll certainly make Britains 2nd highest mountain a bit easier to get to. Ben Macdui is behind Cairngorm
