Comical! It looks like there might have been some grass there at some point...tufts of deadness still visible. If/when it rains, does it all pop out and grow wildly?

On second thought...that looks like an electric mower. There was a power outage and the operator quit mowing and never returned to the task. :-)

I like this photo for the same reason that Waynette does. However, I know why the lawn mower was abandoned: the person using it looked at the landscape, saw grass and dirt stretching to the horizon, and decided that there were better things to do than to push a mower over endless bumpy terrain. :-)

Does anyone every question WHY? Or HOW?
How did this lawn mower get here or WHY was it abandoned?
I love images like these because I always like to think of strange explanations for the image.
