These are just a few of the gas flares that are lit on the hour after dark along Southbank. Not easy to photograph for a slow thinking person of which I am a prime example. I always miss the crescendo (like this time) and exposure is another stress activator. I suppose one should use 2 different exposures and merge them but I am too dumb for all that.
