A scene exemplifying the Mackenzie Basin area in the central South Island. Brooding clouds cling to the Ben Ohau Range with Lake Ohau nestled beyond the range and to the left.....not that you can see it from here. One would need a helicopter and unfortunately I had left mine at home that day.
