The waters and tranquillity of the sound are ruffled by the first of the day's cruise boats as they head out, the sound of their engines and exhaust faintly drifting across the sound and punctuated with snatches of the skipper's commentary. Soon they will be gone and solitude will return on the water....for 5 minutes.
