A common scene on the West Coast of the South Island where this type of vegetation thrives. So do gumboots, ducks and umbrellas. I have never found this spot again but it was by the road somewhere. I have always thought it was just north of Punakaiki somewhere but nowhere looks convincingly similar any more.
