We arrived in Franconia on 31 July and spent the next two nights there. First up was a visit to the Lost River Gorge. On the 1st of August we ascended Mt. Washington on the Cog Railway and hiked the Flume in the White Mountains. We travelled to Concord on the 2nd and visited the New Hampshire State Museum. The 3rd took us to Portsmouth, the USS Albacore and the Atlantic Coast.
