where Dixie was born

An insignificant bit of fell in County Durham just outside the village of Cockfield.
Once the site of a coal mine. The mine owners son (born nearby) was Jeremiah Dixon,
who went with Charles Mason to America to survey the Mason-Dixon line.
A defining moment in American history.
