Pond life

Mr Fox has been busy in the quarry, he's eaten all the pet ducks bar one, which has now been moved onto the big pond for it's own safety.
The Carp have also been cleaned out, by Otters.

Two beauties. Very nice shots. I prefer the first but not by much.

Terrific--it was well worth braving the rain. Nice shots.

Love both shots. The rain in the top and the duck in the bottom.

Poor lonely little duck. A pretty place by day, not so pleasant at night it seems !

Well done for braving the rain! Actually I quite like looking at the photos of the rain, but then I'm indoors ;-)
Unusual coloured duck, and I like the water drops on the lake, particularly in the top photo.

Are you sure it was a Fox that killed all the ducks. We had a whole pond cleared of ducks, but it was an Otter not a Fox! No Fox prints only Otter's!!

Lovely shots John, we have many foxes and the Mallards could do with a cull.
Unfortunatly they outnumber the foxes 5000 to 1.
I see you used the rainy day camera.

Beautiful scene with warm earth tones, love the rain falling. Fantastic Capture!

Nice shots Johnny. Now you've got to get the fox to clean out the otters and you restock the ponds with ducks and fish and start the whole thing all over. :^)
