Yellowhammer

Used to see big flocks of these when I was a kid, now it's nece to see the odd one or two.

I think a yellowhammer was my first ever bird photo, taken near the beach in Devon when I was 14!
Always good to see this scarce species.

Such a lovely yellow standing out against the earth and snow. Sad their numbers are so depleted.
