The weather must be getting better I've even got the motorbike out of hibernation, she has been wrapped up since November

still the odd patch of snow left I see, and no sign of leaf buds. Hurry up Spring!

Won't be long until those trees are covered in beautifully coloured leaves!

Pleased to see they survived the winter
globalgadabout25-Mar-2010 13:54

Nothing really elephant-like when you are up close!
Stewart Mitchell24-Mar-2010 22:56
Good to see the future is secure with the next generation of elephants springing up!!
Zak24-Mar-2010 22:01
they look too normal to be near you! ;-)
Chris24-Mar-2010 21:57
Elephants, bears - I don't remember Weardale being so exciting. I'll put it down to Global Warming!
Nice image btw.
Doug Cruden24-Mar-2010 21:57
They don't look like elephants when you're close up...I like the slight blueness in the sky in the far distance, just raises the colourfulness of the scene nicely
Colin Storey24-Mar-2010 21:35
Great shot through the Elephants??
J. Scott Coile24-Mar-2010 21:34
Winter clings until one day mother nature gently pushes in her green.
Mairéad24-Mar-2010 21:14
Still very bare...
Phillip Normanton24-Mar-2010 20:55
They're looking very wavy, wibbly, wobbly, curly and wurly! :o)
