Trouble comes in threes

All the sheep in this field are expecting triplets.
This is bad news for the farmer as sheep only have two teats.

I am living surrounded by sheep and I never thought of that before.
A lovely moody misty shot.

Many sleepless nights coming up for this farmer.

Great shot Johnny...I think they recognise ewe now...BV

They do say it comes in threes...and this would seem to prove it!
globalgadabout09-Feb-2010 03:41
seems it will be 'survival of the fittest' with the dearth of milk stations...perhaps that explains the apparent alarm on these concerned faces..
s_barbour09-Feb-2010 02:08
That's fascinating Johnny...how do they know that each one will have three babies?
Wonderful shot!
Cindi Smith09-Feb-2010 01:54
They sure pay attention to you....must think it's dinner time. Ewe are special.
Sheila08-Feb-2010 22:48
Are you going to adopt?
The middle one looks a bit shell shocked.

Yes, hope we see the triplets! Nice foggy background here. Well done.

That must be quite interesting for statisticians... maybe they'll descend for a field trip :o)
