I was managing our last game of the season, as my number four hitter got himself ejected for arguing with the umpire in the fifth inning. Since I was fielding a nine player team, I had to put myself into the game. After playing right field, I walked on four strait balls. I made it all the way to third. The third out occurred just prior to me crossing the plate. Anyway, the game was a blowout loss, witch ended in the fifth by “double mercy rule” meaning the opposing team was more than 20 runs ahead.
