After the 17 weeks basic training, you returned every year for a three week service. It was always great to meet all the guys again you usually only saw once a year. We would head of somewhere in the Swiss mountains, cap some rounds and in the final week have a big maneuver, witch lasted up to three days. It’s almost impossible for a group of Swiss men coming together, without the subject army service coming up.
