Coach Moore by his own initiative, planed a variation for the second team uniforms, but the uniform numbers of the first and second team got mixed up. So the second team got the grey uniforms, and the NL A team got the “misfits.” Imagine, red undershirt, white vest, and grey pants. Even Stevie Wonder would hate it.
