This was the first rideout of these two bikes together. The CB400F had languished all winter without being run - but started first kick while the CD175 was fresh from recently being treated to a carb overhaul from NRP Carbs in Manchester having been ridden from Colchester with an engine that cut out instantly of anything less than about half throttle was used. I surprised a number of drivers in a Sunday traffic jam by weaving like a maniac through the traffic at high speed on this delivery run. NRP did an excellent job and only a small amount of final adjustment will be needed to get the CD175 back on tune.
It was graet fun on a warm spring day in 2010 for my brother and I to take these two thirty year old bikes out for a run. We both remarked that these old fashioned saddles are easier on the bum than the modern sculpted things which prevent any useful degree of shuffling around.
