In the Dune arena of North Holland, a province situated on the North Sea coast of the Netherlands , large grazers has been released several years ago to get control of the vegetation of the so called “Grey Dunes”. Next to these Exmoor ponies also Scottish highlanders, konik horses, Scottish blackface sheep and Dutch goats live and graze in the dunes.
