Texel (West Frysian Islands)

The Texel is a breed of domestic sheep originally from the island of Texel in the Netherlands.
The wool is mostly used for hosiery yarns and knitting wools and next to this it is presently a popular lean meat sheep across different countries in Europe and other countries outside Europe.
