In the original story by Alexandre Dumas, fils, and in the subsequent
adaptation for the stage, starring Sarah Bernhardt, her name is
Marguerite as it is as played by Greta Garbo in the film "Camille",
but in Verdi's opera "La Traviata", she is Violetta.
