c. 1908 - Cells in the new Tenderloin police station
The Tenderloin was the entertainment and red-light district in the heart of
Manhattan during the late 1800's and early 1900's. The area originally ran
from 23rd Street to 42nd Street and from 5th Avenue to 7th Avenue.
