As the light was really nice I had actually gone up there onto the Moor to
photograph an old stone circle, but it was this very transient view
(in less than 20 minutes it was gone) backlit across the valley that really caught my eye.
Post processing with layers has been used, however it would also have been
required on a single shot taken on the DSLR.
A very difficult lighting situation to handle, in which I would have bracketed the
DSLR whereas +/- EV in the live view on the Fuji gave me exactly the same facility
only on a single shot that I knew was working. Why not bracket with the Fuji and then
use the best shot? No need, it is so quick and easy to dial in the exposure that suits.
