Down at the bottom of the valley next to Fingle Bridge you'll find the Fingle Bridge Inn. It used to be called the 'Angler's Rest' and we've had many a nice meal there (al-fresco by the river in the summertime)in their restuarant. There is a really nice medium distance walk along the river Teign from here to Dog Marsh Bridge near Chagford. - I recall one late summer's evening along walk by moonlight back to our transport at the other end after the concept it getting dark got 'forgotten' over a few pints of ale.
