One of the enigmatic ancient Stone Rows on Dartmoor. The longest one (of three) here at Merrivale is 865ft long. No-one knows what purpose they served as they line up with no major geographical or astronomical features, and neither are they spaced widely enough to have been of use for processional purposes. You'll just have to go back in time to the Bronze and Iron Ages to find out..
