Strange eroded soft rocks on a North Cornwall Beach

(I'm reliably informed that it's actually old sandstone from the Bude Formation which has been
baked at great depth in the geological past, water has run through the cracks in it and
deposited rust, while the interior sand grains of the little brick-like cakes which make
it up have endured a different kind of process and look grey.)
