Patching Carradice

Patched my Carradice saddlebag with plasticised canvas & neoprene glue. Set up a big sliding clamp in
a vice with the tail pointing up and various packing pieces, glued up the site & the patch and waited
for the glue to dry. And waited. And waited. Put another layer of glue on the bag. And waited. The
glue on the plasticised stuff took over an hour to become tacky. Half an hour later it was almost
there so I mated it to the bag, put a block over it, whanged down the mobile part of the clamp,
screwed it down and hit it hard with a mallet as per instructions on the tube. Released from clamp, it
seems to have taken well. We'll see.
