Only 652m high but a 166km/1333m trip all the same. Couldn't have done it without the eCow to shove on
the hills. Roads in the mountains terrible, the usual worn chip&seal, bum abraded to hell - I was
vibrating for hours afterwards, too. Up on top of col the road was yellow/green with conifer pollen,
which was lying in drifts in the gutter. Passing cars were raising clouds of it. Fortunately I'm not
allergic to it, but a patch of deciduous forest closer to home set me sneezing and my nose was still
bunged up when I went to bed. The usual evil NE wind in my face for the last 70-odd km. Great ride.
