Municipal generosity

The German inscription reads "I am so good, I can only give".
The French sign reads "Not drinking water".
Nuff said.

Most of our "non-potable" waters are used to water landscaping. I can't imagine grabbing a bucket of it here and trundling it home to water plants. :/ I guess you could wash your feet? LOL

Makes me wonder what the water is for if it's not fit to drink.

I guess you could stop for your dog to get a drink here. "Non Potable" is seen on some water spigots in the U.S. also. (typically next to a camper sewage dump station in a campground, where it would be obvious to most users)

The old watering hole! Guess one could bathe then? ;0
