Ginny, Christiane, Richard and I went on a driving tour up the Columbia Gorge today. We stopped a Multnomah Falls with the hopes of doing some nice photography. Unfortunately, it was a photographer's nightmare. Bright sunlight and the falls in deep shadows. We settled for a few shots like this one.

Nice-looking couple! The cliff that produces the waterfalls was created by ige age floods that stripped away pieces of basalt:http://www.iafi.org/aboutfloods/howfloodshappen.html .
