This is a serval cat we saw in Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. It is the only one we saw clearly on this trip. It has very sensitive hearing and can sense mice scooting through the brush. It is also able to leap 9 feet in the air to pounce on rodents, small birds, frogs, reptiles, and insects.
