We had the big crape myrtle in front of the house removed today. Its roots were starting to push over the brick wall next to the drive way. A crew of six guys showed up and went to work. They also trimmed some trees in other parts of the yard. These guys have been here before to remove big trees. I am always amazed at the skill of the guy who does the cutting. He uses a lot of rope to make sure the limbs don't go astray on their way to the ground. The others haul the limbs to the chipper. Here is a photo of the guy doing the cutting. It looks like he is in a precarious position, but he is tied in with a safety belt. It took them a couple of hours to do all the work.
