The day was cloudy, but I wanted to go out and shoot the 24-240 lens for the first time. Of course, the yellow crowned night herons were sitting around their nest. So I took a few for grins, but they were very dark. The light sky behind throws the metering off. A bunch of light adjustments and a quick trip through Topaz gave a result that wasn't terrible. It wasn't great either. I have to figure out how to give these types of photos some pop.
