We are starting to get back into the photography mood again. With our upcoming trip to Africa we want to be sure that all is working and that we have done lots of practicing. I pulled out my G15, 5D MkIV and 7D MK2 and did some shooting. I was using the 100-400 with the 7D because that is a sensor size/lens combination we will be taking with us and I just have to start seeing what it does. Also going back to Lightroom and seeing what lenses I was using at various places. In the Galapagos I took 4298 photos with two different cameras. Of those 3120 were with the 100-400 lens. You might think of it as a long distance lens, but at short ranges you can get really up close and with the critters.

Anyway, I took 44 photos today just figuring things out. Ginny took only one. It was the best of the bunch. It is her amaryllis flower that managed to survive the freeze and put out four beautiful blossoms.
