We have always taken tons of pictures. Actually, Ginny is a much better photographer than I am. One thing she insisted on is using our film cameras all through my beginning adventures in digital photography and she was right. It wasn't until our Rebel XT came along that she finally switched over to digital herself. That was in December, 2010. That was the point when a 8 megapixel sensor was just about right for our photography interests. As cameras improved we continued to upgrade. The real corker in the switch to digital was Lightroom. I think we got started with that in 2005. Ginny liked it because of the great editing tools and I liked it because of the photo base (digital asset) management tools. She is very artistic and demanding when she edits photos. She finds it very satisfying. Anyway, here is photographer Ginny with her trusty Rebel G film camera at David's birthday in 2002.
