Today we started our return trip to Houston. It is on I-10 all the way. Our GPS started showing a big backup just east of Vail Arizona. We endured a 37 minute delay over the 5.4 mile traffic jam. I was surprised that all the cars and trucks stayed in their lanes right up to the point that a lane closure started. This stretch has been one lane for a long time. Road construction. When we passed the construction there was nobody working. Saturday, you know. Except for that it was smooth sailing for 398 miles. We got into Las Cruces after a little less than seven hours. Our objective tomorrow is Kerrville, Texas.
