Today was my semi-annual trip to the dentist. It is the same every time. First is the cleaning then the dentist has a look. As usual she said, "Put a watch on the buckle of number 30." They have been saying that for 20 years. Anyway, today it was time for the annual X-Ray, I think it is called bite wings. Dental x-rays have come a long way over the years. Long ago the hygienist would put a film holder in your mouth, point a big X-Ray machine at it and then duck behind a radiation shield. Now it is all digital. She has a small hand held gadget and just trips the shutter. You still wear a protective lead apron.
