We are heading out on a trip to American Samoa and Independent Samoa next week (with three days in Hawaii). As I have mentioned before we are weight limited on one of the flying legs of the trip. So there are two things I have to contend with. (1) getting under the maximum weight. The easy one. (2) Getting Ginny's approval of the clothes I am going to take along. So today we had a fashion show in the bedroom going through all the stuff I am supposed to take. In addition to clothes we are bringing our snorkeling gear, so the weight limit is a definite challenge. When it was all over I packed up the suitcase and weighed it. Fortunately is was less than the maximum. I did the same with the computer/camera bag and found it over the limit. If push comes to shove, I will wear a camera or two on my belt which will put the backpack under the limit. Seven days and counting.
