This is a shake down trip for a small lap top (Lenovo Yoga) we intend to take with us to American Samoa in the fall. I have spent hours getting used to it so far on this trip. The major problem is that it doesn't run Lightroom reliably. That is a concern as you can well understand. It also seems that one of the USB ports is a bit flaky. I don't understand why that is happening because it is a Windows 10 machine. My HP Envy (also Windows 10) at home runs it like a champ. Sometimes computer hacking goes well with a sandwich, chips and a beer.
