One major objective of this trip was to visit the National Air and Space Museum Udvar-Hazy Center near Dulles Airport. We were joined by our friends Bruce and Terry with whom we were to spend the night. This museum is quite good. There are lots of aircraft of all types, including some famous ones like the Enola Gay and the Bell X-1. We spent the better part of the day there including a guided tour which was excellent. One of the famous aircraft is the shuttle Discovery. It is a very large flying machine. Our tour guide was parient as we got organized for a group photo.
