I am having quite a good time trying out my Topaz AI and Lightroom AI tools. I have used the opportunity to go back over the tons of images I have and work on some that I particularly like. It has also been an opportunity to delete outtakes. I have a long way to go, but whenever I open up a folder I look for the images that would be happier in the recycle bin.
So I was going through some of my galleries in pBase and ended up back at the 2009 airshow gallery. My Lightroom skills at the time were limited. As I go through the images I see they are at best "presentable" in a small format. With the tools I have today, I can do quite a bit better. I have also learned to do a better job adjusting the proper sliders. Today's image is a comparison of the edited and original photos.
As I looked at the photo I noted that the ailerons were of different colors. Actually, as I thought about it more I realized that the pilot had right stick in because he was starting an aileron roll so the left aileron is down which takes it out of the sun and the right aileron is up putting it into the sun. I thought that was cool. Easily amused.
