Bloke is putting a new crankshaft seal on his T-18. This is always a pain in the butt because you have to stretch it a lot to get it over propeller flange. We have always done it in the past with brute force and awkwardness. It helps to heat the thing so it stretches more easily. Anyway, Bloke came up with a DIY gadget built with a piece of curved PVC pipe. You can buy a metal one from Lycoming for a couple thousand dollars I am told. The gadget worked just fine, but it still took brute force and awkwardness.
