We had Christmas Day with just the two of us this year. It has been that way for a while. We went to church and saw our friends then returned to the house and set up for the obligatory photo of just the two of us. I have a keyword for these photos: "JC&VC." When I went to Lightroom and searched on that keyword, I found 5483 photos. There are mostly multiple shots of the same occasions, but there are literally hundreds of those occasions.

We prepared an excellent feast consisting of pork tenderloin, green bean casserole, twice baked potatoes and biscuits. There was also a nice bottle of wine that Robert gave us for Christmas.

This year we will be able to see all the kids during the holidays. We just returned from a trip to see David and Robert. We are on the road again on Wednesday to meet up with Richard in Austin and Fredericksburg. Life is good.
