We departed Quebec without problems. It helped that we were on the road at 7:45 am on Sunday morning. We entered the US at Coburn Gore, Maine. We were the 6th car in line but it took 45 minutes. Several of the cars ahead of us were detained which took a while. The drive on to Lubec, Maine was uneventful. We stopped at the sign for a photo. Lubec is the easternmost town in the US.

While we were moving our luggage into the hotel, I was pulling a bag and tripped and fell square on my hind end. Very painful. I was able to get up, but my back was so sore I could hardly move. Eventually we ended up in the Emergency Room at Down East Community Hospital in Machias. It took a couple hours and several x-rays, but the doctor said I had no broken bones in my back. I am going to be very sore for a long time. This is my selfie in the Emergency Room.
