It was a very interesting and long Day in Quebec City. Our walking tour of the city in the morning was a lot of fun. Our guide was quite outspoken about all sorts of things. It was interesting to get a Quebecois take on history and American Politics. We started in the upper town and ended up in the lower town. In all it was 2 1/2 hours of walking and listening.
After a picnic lunch overlooking the St. Lawrence river we proceeded to the Museum of Civilization and spent the rest of the day there. During that time we had a guided tour of the exhibit of Quebec history. That sure beats reading signs. We had another tour outside the museum in the neighborhood that looked at the architecture and talked about the history.
One exhibit in the museum was "Find Your Way" which was a collection of interactive exhibits that were a lot of fun. Today's photo is of Ginny playing with the slanted mirror. We had a lot of fun with that one. There was also an exhibit (Vast Body) where you were in front of a camera and as you moved it displayed shots of other people making the same gesture right on top of you. Very cool
We had to go up many flights of stairs to get back to the upper town. On the way home we stopped back at the little store from yesterday to stock up on some food and beer. Back at the hotel we relaxed and enjoyed some supper and adult refreshments.
