It was a museum day in Toronto. The first was the Royal Ontario Museum. It turned out to be a great place to visit. We spent about four hours going through it. When I go through a museum I look for something that catches my fancy or is something new. I can always linger through the dinosaurs, but Arts and Culture leaves me cold. However today I saw something in the aforementioned department that was pretty cool. It is a pocket sundial used in the 1600s. It also has a compass which you need to align it properly. That is today's photo.
In the afternoon we went to the Art Gallery of Ontario. I decided that I would not go in because art has no interest for me. I told Ginny to go in and take her time and enjoy the exhibits. She spent two and a half hours inside and had a great time. I spent the time reading some stuff on my phone and I had a great time. When we got back to the hotel (after a stop at the LCBO and a grocery store) she checked her steps for the day and got 23,000 and 9.6 miles. You put on a lot of distance wandering through museums.
