OK, here we are at Lake Clark National Park, the 61st that we have visited. This is going to be tons of fun. Our accommodations are first class. We just got back from dinner which was very good. I will have to be careful not to eat too much.

Arriving just after lunch, we had plenty of time to hike over to the Lake Clark National Park visitor center. First matter of business was getting a photo with the park sign. This was an easy one because there was nobody else there and we had a nice diffuse light. While chatting with the ranger on duty there, we discovered that we have a mutual friend who is a ranger at Capital Reef National Park. Small world. Tomorrow is a trip to Katmai National Park and Brooks Falls to watch the bears.
